Hyde Park’s GCFD Weigh-in & More!

Published by Webmaster

Recently, we had our first weigh-in with the Greater Chicago Food Depository (GCFD) and we couldn’t be happier with the amount of canned and dry food we have collected so far at Hyde Park Self-Storage and from the help of our good friends, Girl Scouts Troop #20082.

Hyde Park’s donations weighed in at 300lbs of food while the Girl Scouts’ donations tipped the scale at 523lbs bringing us to a total of 823lbs! We are so proud of this number and look forward to breaking the 1,000lb mark with the community’s continued help. Both of our Hyde Park and 83rd & Halsted Self-Storage locations are still accepting donations.

Stayed tuned for more weigh-ins and updates!
