Moving Estimate Information

Moving Estimates

Over the years, we have found that the first step to booking a moving job for most customers is the moving estimate.

When you first call Aaron Bros. Headquarters at 773-268-1700 or find us online, your initial interaction with our company will be a conversation about your unique move.  Questions such as, “how many rooms of furniture are you moving,” “what large items are you moving,” “what floor do you live on,” and “is there access to an elevator,” will be asked in your initial conversation with one of our Aaron Bros. Moving Specialists. This first conversation allows us the opportunity to determine what we should expect during your move and what course of action we should take to successfully complete your move.

In our 46 years of experience in the moving industry, we have found that the best way both our customers and our business can prepare itself for each moving job is by knowing ahead of time exactly what an individual, family, or business requires before the job begins. Regardless of the method we choose to perform your moving estimate we know the best way of finding this information is by taking the time to review the information you provide and discuss any questions or concerns you may have about your move. The more details and information you provide the better we can serve you. The best part is, all of our moving estimates are free of charge!

Although there is no absolute way to come up with a flat, set fee for your move, we try very hard to determine a close estimate based upon the information provided to us by you and by the prior experience Aaron Bros. has in the moving industry. For example, we know that a typical two bedroom apartment move on a second floor walk-up will normally take a 3 men crew between 5-6.5 hours to complete. So, as we listen to the details of your specific move, we are thinking of prior moves with similar parameters set forth for the movers and how it relates to the details you are providing to us.

Aaron Bros. Moving System, Inc. provides three convenient ways for our customers to receive a free moving estimate. Depending on the size of your move, we may suggest:

  1. Someone coming to your home to complete the moving estimate
  2. A virtual walk-through of your home using Face-time or Skype
  3. Listen over the phone as you describe the items you have or the size of your home.

A good moving company will try its best to be upfront and honest and make sure it lets the customer know how many men are necessary to facilitate the move, how the number of men affect the moving rates and how many hours will be needed to successfully complete your unique moving job. Contact Aaron Bros. today for more information or begin your moving quote now by filling out this estimate form.
