Aaron Bros. Gets into the Spirit of the Holidays at Kaleidoscope!
For over the past decade, Aaron Bros. Moving System, Inc. has partnered with Kaleidoscope of Chicago as one of their trusted logistics partners. If you are not familiar with Kaleidoscope, they are an amazing, nonprofit, chartable organization that serve many children and families throughout the city of Chicago. In their own words, their mission is: “to serve abused and neglected families unconditionally through individualized, family-centered, community-focused care. Our vision is that every child has the chance to lead an independent, self-sufficient, productive, and happy life.”
Beside being of service monthly to perform moving jobs for Kaleidoscope families, Aaron Bros. had the pleasure this year of “adopting” 10 youths and young adults to purchase holiday gifts for. Each youth/young adult provides a “wish list” of three items they hope for, and we get to shopping!
By far, our favorite part of the festivities is participating in Kaleidoscope’s “Santa’s Workshop” where we helped wrap our donated gifts and mounds and mounds of presents from other donors and sponsors. Here are photos from Aaron Bros.’ pile, “before” and “after.”
