Logan Square Neighborhood Feature #1: The Restaurants
Have you visited Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood? If not, you are missing out on a neighborhood filled with great small businesses, restaurants and more! Over the past 10 years, Logan Square has been going through a transformation, representing Chicago’s new hipster scene.
Lula Cafe has been there since the beginning of the neighborhood’s transformation, opening in 1999. The restaurant serves breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, specializing in seasonal, local, farm to table cuisine.
Another great staple in Logan Square is Chicago Diner. With their first location in Lakeview, the diner opened their Logan Square location in 2012, offering a larger space, full bar and still providing their vegan and vegetarian comfort food.
Before the cold weather moves in, make sure you get over to Parson’s Chicken and Fish on Armitage Avenue. Enjoy the large patio adorned with picnic tables and ping pong while noshing on oysters, fish fry, chicken sandwiches, tater tots and more.
Logan Square has a lot to offer – stay tuned for our post on how to enjoy the neighborhood this weekend!
